Foundation of a special machine-building center at Joint-Stock Company "POZiS" cost approximately 4 billion rubles, 1 billion of which was the company's own funds. This was announced today during the opening ceremony of the Center by the Head of the State Corporation Rostekh, Sergei Chemezov.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the event.
"POZiS" is the main Russian manufacturer of small-caliber ammunition for aviation, naval and land artillery systems. It produces grenades for grenade launchers, almost the entire palette of small-caliber ammunition and pyro-cartridges. This is practically the only production in the CIS", said Sergey Chemezov at the opening ceremony.
In turn, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stresses that the company is one of the strategically important companies for defense capability of our country.
"The Center for Special Machine Building will create competitive products with good profitability", Rustam Minnikhanov said.
The enterprise has a closed production cycle - it produces cartridges and shells, and also has a test site for munitions.
The project was implemented within the framework of the federal target program "Development of the Defense Industry Complex of the Russian Federation for 2011-2020". Investments in the Center amounted to over 4 billion rubles.
For reference:
New machine-building complex was created in the premises of one of the largest enterprises of the defense industry complex of the region - the Production Association "Zavod imeni Sergo" ("POZiS", a part of the concern "Tekhmash" of the State Corporation Rostekh). The center is equipped with modern digital lines providing automated production of military products.
The center for special machine building is an updated production complex, where modern high-tech equipment of the world level is installed. Until recently, the technologies of the 50-80-ies were used here for manufacturing of products - energy-consuming, with high labor input, not meeting modern ecological requirements. Technical modernization allowed to increase labor productivity by 2.2 times, to reduce energy consumption by 1.5 times and to increase the profitability of production in the conditions of small series and a large range of products.
Creation of metal-working center for EPS-cleaning. A unique project was supported by the program "Subsidizing % rate"
The service metal center for EPS cleaning will be launched in the first quarter of 2019 in Naberezhnye Chelny. The investment project is implemented by the management company of the industrial site "Shestnadtsatyi region" of "Kama-Trade Tatarstan", Limited Liability Company.
About 570 million rubles were invested in the implementation of this project. The costs of the management company associated with the payment of interest on loans attracted in credit institutions for the purchase of equipment and construction of infrastructure will be reimbursed. In the framework of the program "Subsidizing % rate" this year, by analogy with the past year, the manufacturer will receive 5 million rubles. Financial support was provided by the State Public Institution "Center for the Implementation of Support and Development Programs for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan" under the Ministry of Economy.
Production will allow high-quality cleaning of scale from a thin sheet of metal, obtained by leveling. As a result, the surface becomes more uniform and even, the material acquires resistance to rust and does not require oiling for further storage. EPS-cleaning technology is designed as an environmentally friendly alternative to acid etching. The use of high-tech equipment helps to prevent emissions into the environment. Production takes up a small area and does not require high operational costs.
As the Deputy General Director for Development of the company Victor Buton said, equipment from America is now being purchased. According to him, such a project is realized only in this part of the world. "For Russia, Europe and Asia, the technology for EPS-cleaning is unique", he explained. According to him, the project will create 131 jobs. It is expected that the processing volume will be up to 120 thousand tons per year by 2020.
