9 August 2018, Thursday

The Tatarstan Industrial Machine Building Cluster is included into the federal register of industrial clusters. This is confirmed by the Order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Inclusion of the cluster into the federal register makes it possible to reimburse up to 50% of the costs associated with the implementation of cooperative (cluster) investment projects aimed at import substitution.

At present, 43 enterprises of large, medium and small enterprises are participants of the Industrial machine-building cluster of the republic. 31 of them are manufacturers of industrial products, 12 are final producers of industrial products. A significant work has been done to bring the cluster to the federal level - an agreement has been signed with the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, a specialized application for the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has been prepared by the specialized organization of the cluster, and an examination has been carried out. Currently, the cluster is preparing for participating in the competition for the support of industrial clusters with the project "Production of industrial batteries" of "Bars Technology" company.

The factory for the production of batteries "Bars Technology" is an active participant in the Industrial Machine Building Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan. It is the only production in Russia with fully automated battery assembly. By 2020, the company plans to become the leader in the Russian battery industry and take 15% of the domestic market. Implementation of the project with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will allow to increase the volume of production of import-substituting products, the number of high-performance jobs and to strengthen cooperation ties between the cluster members.
