Zelenodolskiy district improved its indicators in the socio-economic development rating of the municipal formations of Tatarstan by 9 positions. Statistics is prepared by experts of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic. Menzelinskiy district also improved its performance. It rose by 8 positions, and Mamadyshskiy - by 7. These changes are caused by a decrease in the level of registered unemployment, an increase in the volume of investments in fixed assets (without budget funds) and the total area of ​​ commissioned residential buildings.

Kazan and Almetyevsk still hold high positions and remain leaders. On the third place - Laishevskiy district.

In per capita terms, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 340.12 thousand rubles. Among the municipalities, the highest figures belong to Almetyevskiy (1998.51 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamskskiy (1054.98 thousand rubles) and Elabuzhskiy (780.4 thousand rubles) districts.

As of July 1, 2018, the level of registered unemployment in the republic was 0.52%. In 29 municipalities this indicator is below the average republican level. The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Laishevskiy (0.17%), Aktanyshskiy (0.19%) and Aksubaevskiy (0.25%) municipal districts.

For January-June of 2018 in the Republic of Tatarstan, 0.314 square meters of the total area of ​​housing per capita was commissioned. The largest area of ​​housing was introduced in Pestrechinskiy (3,321 sq. meters), Verkhneuslonskiy (1,541 sq. meters) and Laishevskiy (1,424 sq. meters) districts.
