RUR 78.8 million will be allocated to non-profit organizations of Tatarstan for the implementation of socially important projects

According the results of the first in 2018 competition for grants of the President of the Russian Federation, non-profit organizations of Tatarstan won RUR 78.8 million. These funds will be used to implement 58 socially important projects, including, projects aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle, social services, social support and protection of citizens, culture and art, preserving historical memory. Over 60% of these projects will be implemented by non-profit organizations in Kazan, over 10% - in Naberezhnye Chelny and about 9% - in Yelabuga.

In comparison with the last year, the number of winners from Tatarstan has increased. In 2017, 20 projects from Tatarstan won grants in the first competition, this year this figure almost tripled.

This competition is organized twice a year by the Presidential Grants Foundation. It is aimed at supporting socially important projects of non-profit non-governmental organizations.
