Farid Abdulganiev: "Development of nanoindustry is one of the priorities of Tatarstan"

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum continues today. It is a global leading platform for communication of representatives of business circles and discussion of key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets and the world as a whole. A delegation of Tatarstan participates in the forum. Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev met with colleagues from other regions. He said that last year Tatarstan has shipped 23.2% of the total nanoindustry products shipped across Russia. Tatarstan is on the first place for the second year in a row. "The development of nanoindustry is our priority", the Minister Abdulganiev noted.

The following projects have been implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the program for the development of nanoindustry and cooperation with ROSNANO JSC: production of flexible barrier packaging (Danaflex-Nano LLC); Nanotechnology Center of the Republic of Tatarstan; Alabuga-Volokno LLC implements a project for the production of carbon fiber in the SEZ "Alabuga"; Tatkabel LLC has tarted production of 500 kW cables; Fiberglass Pipes Plant LLC has started production of fiberglass pipes using TUBALL nanotubes; a laboratory and production complex Nanopharma Development LLC has been created in the Khimgrad Technology Park.

One more innovative company, Advenira, was established in 2017. It is located in the Khimgrad Technology Park and produces materials used to apply innovative nanocomposite SDN® coatings.
