Tatarstan is again in TOP 5. RIA Rating analyzed the socio-economic conditions of subjects of the Russian Federation
Tatarstan took the 4th place in the rating of socio-economic conditions of subjects of the Russian Federation (2016 - the 5th place). The first three positions are taken by Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra.
On the verge of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018, which starts in St. Petersburg tomorrow, May 24, a rating agency "RIA-Rating" have compiled a regular, the 8th, rating of socio-economic development of subjects of the Russian Federation. The rating, prepared on request of RIA Novosti, is based on the aggregation of the key indicators of regional development for 2017. Results of the rating make it possible to judge position of any given region on the economic map of Russia.
The rating is compiled based on the aggregation of various indicators combined into 4 groups: indicators of the scale of economy, indicators of economic performance, indicators of budgetary sphere, indicators of social sphere. The rating was built by ranking the subjects of the Russian Federation in descending order of the value of the integral rating score. The integral rating of the subject of the Russian Federation was determined as the geometric mean of the rating scores of groups of indicators. In every group of indicators, the rating score of the subject of the Russian Federation was determined as the geometric mean of the rating scores of all indicators in the group.
