A meeting of the Presidium of the Investment Committee was held in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov ran a regular meeting of the Presidium of the Investment Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the website http://president.tatar.ru. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiev. Investment projects, including two projects based on the public-private partnership (PPP), were reviewed at the meeting. The first project was the production of gas turbines GT-004 and spares for energy, gas and petrochemical equipment. The project was presented by KamEnergoMash LLC (KER-Holding Group of Companies). The project might be implemented in Nijnekamsk, the total building area is 29 thousand m2. The main task is to increase the market share of domestic power equipment. It is expected that the company will take up to 10% of domestic market when it reaches the designed capacity. The price analysis showed that the company's products will be competitive. Answering the questions of Rustam Minnikhanov, representatives of the company reported that the turbine capacity will be 4 MW. The company is planning to reach the designed capacity by 2027 (up to 15 turbines per year).
Members of the Presidium of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan approved the project. However, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the project could be more ambitious.
The second project is aimed at building a new production of fabric: it is planned to build the Microfiber plant in the territory of the Nijnekamsk industrial park. The plant will be the first facility in Russia to produce synthetic filament from microfiber.
Unique features of fiber, first of all, its increased absorbency, as well as areas of application of this demanded product were explained to Rustam Minnikhanov. In addition, the main financial indicators and performance indicators of the project were presented. "It is necessary to start the implementation stage, and use the existing raw material market in the republic", - Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized.
The next project was the production of landscaping elements, construction of a paving flag construction plant with a capacity of up to 1.2 million m2 per year (vibratory compacting method). The project is initiated by Vybor-S LLC. The company is one of the largest producers of paving flags and other landscaping elements in Russia, it intends to expand the geography of supply and increase sales.
The project is planned to be located in Naberezhnye Chelny by acquiring the status of a resident of the territory of advanced socio-economic development (TOSER). The building area is expected to be 4.5 hectares.
Energy RS Group of Companies presented an investment project for the production of busbars. The project is planned to be financed from own funds (RUR 450 million). It was noted that the market is showing a positive trend for opening a new production: the demand for products increase year on year.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the project is in demand and it is necessary to provide any support to the production. In addition, he proposed the company representatives to make a presentation at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding JSC.
Then, two projects, which can be implemented on the terms of public-private partnership, were reviewed at the meeting of the Presidium of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. These are the construction of a sport complex in Naberezhnye Chelny and a project for construction of urban thermae (sports, recreational, entertaining) in Tatarstan.
