The Agency for Political and Economic Communications (APEC) and the Laboratory for Regional Political Studies of the Higher School of Economics compiled the first Mayor Performance Rating.
Experts assessed the situation in January-March 2018 in two blocks: political-managerial and socio-economic, the Vedomosti newspaper reports. All capitals of the subjects of the Russian Federation and other municipalities with population over 300 thousand peoples were included into the rating. Kazan took the first place in the rating. It is followed by Tyumen and Rostov-on-Don.

As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
As part of the working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, an off-site meeting was held on measures of state support for industrial parks.
