Sberbank provided loan to the resident of the SEZ "Alabuga", IGS Agro LLC, with an amount of RUR 981.2 million for construction of a plant for growing champignons and producing manure. The funds were provided against the guarantee of the SME Corporation with the amount of RUR 460.6 million and under surety of NPO Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan in the amount of RUR 30 million. According to the information on the official website of SEZ, IGS Agro LLC is the first resident of "Alabuga" to receive support from the SME Corporation.
Construction of the first phase of production started in November 2016 and is planned to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2018. IGS Agro is planning to implement three such phases until 2020. The total cost of the project is RUR 1.4 billion. The investor is planning to create over 160 new jobs. The company stresses that its goal is to minimize the share of imported champignons in the Russian retail chains.
There are also other programs which residents of SEZ "Alabuga" receive support and funds from: in December, 2017, "P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno" received a concessional loan from the Industrial Development Fund. The company spent funds on modernization of equipment and increasing plant capacity by 31%.
