Joint Credit Bureau: "Tatarstan is the leader by the lending growth rate"

Joint Credit Bureau (JCB) summed up the results of credit activity of regions in the 1st quarter of 2018.

Tatarstan became the leader by the lending growth rate: lending increased by 55% compared to the previous year, while the amount of new credits increased by 16%. The lowest growth rate is recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, where lending is increased by 33% year-on-year, while the amount of new credits increased by 20%. 

Tatarstan is also among TOP 10 most credit active regions by lending volume.

 Moscow and the Moscow Region, where borrowers took 861.23 thousand loans worth over RUR 284.13 billion, is on the first place. The second place is taken by St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region with 361.26 thousand loans worth RUR 98.06 billion, and finally, the Krasnodar Krai with 317.16 thousand loans worth RUR 51.58 billion is on the 3rd place. The TOP 10 regions by credit activity include Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk Region, Bashkortostan, Rostov Region, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod Regions.
