Turkey and Tatarstan will cooperate to support small and medium-sized enterprises

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Small and Medium Industry Development Organization of Turkey signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed in the meeting of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev with the Minister of Economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci in Ankara.

Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the experience of Turkey in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, developing infrastructure of industrial parks is of great interest for Tatarstan. The President noted that the republic attaches great importance to the development of contacts with this state within the framework of Russian-Turkish relations. He also highly appreciated the contribution of Nihat Zeybekci to strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Turkey. "Thanks to the political will of the management of Turkey and your support, large investment projects have been implemented in Tatarstan. These are unique, high-tech projects. Each of them is our pride", - Rustam Minnikhanov said. 

Nihat Zeybekci noted that Tatarstan is interesting for Turkish business circles, as attested by a large share of Turkish investments in the economy of Tatarstan. "Our goal is to develop comprehensive cooperation, increase the volume of bilateral trade and investment. We are glad that our businessmen work in Tatarstan and we support their initiatives in this field", - he stressed.
