Digital economy of Tatarstan: what it will look like tomorrow? Future information technologies were discussed today in Kazan

Implementation of the maximum number of projects in the area of digital economy, growth of enterprises in the IT area, improvement in computer skills of the population. These and other offers on transformation of the digital economy of the republic were presented today at the Kazan State Power Engineering University. Digital Transformation of Economy - a Priority Area of Strategy-2030 of the Republic of Tatarstan strategic session took place in Kazan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Oleg Pelevin greeted participants of the session. He noted, that implementation of information technologies in industry significantly affects development of the economy. It positively affects output, prime cost and price of products, and, thus, the competitiveness. It is important for us to implement these solutions before our competitors, - Oleg Pelevin highlighted. For the purpose of digital economy transformation, changes will be introduced in the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan through 2030. Offers on this issue were made today during the work of 4 groups:

- Establishment of favourable conditions for digital economy transformation: stages of implementations, target indices, and expected results of digital economy development;

- Establishment of favourable conditions for digital economy transformation: statutory regulation (the legislative aspect);

- Establishment of favourable conditions for digital economy transformation: development and growth factors;

- Establishment of favourable conditions for digital economy transformation: human capital.

Ideas on introduction of changes were also expressed today at the IT-park. Offers were made by the members of the Talent Pool republican project finalists within the framework of the Our Tatarstan republican youth forum.
