Today, a seminar on "Standards for regulatory and supervisory activity reform" was held in the Analytical Center under the Government of Russia

Today, a seminar devoted to the issues of implementation and utilization of the Standard for Performance and Efficiency Management Maturity and the Standard for Comprehensive Prevention of Risks of Harming Legally Protected Values was held in Moscow.

The seminar was attended by representatives of federal executive bodies, business associations and expert community. Issues related to the basic requirements of Standards, as well as activities and forms of work necessary to comply with them were discussed at the seminar.

Standard for Performance and Efficiency Management Maturity includes the main conceptual aspects of performance and efficiency assessment and explains how to achieve a high quality assessment, and how this assessment can be used to take real managerial decisions, which can lead to the achievement of the maximum possible societal significant results with the least expenditure of labor, financial and material resources by the state and business.

The main objective of the Standard For Comprehensive Prevention of Risks of Harming Legally Protected Values is to make prevention an integral part of the professional activities of each inspector. The Standard is a system of reference documents (recommendations). The Standard reflects the following main areas of work:

- what is the prevention about and how it works;

- how to properly organize and run preventive activities;

- what is the legal framework and basic principles for organizing and running preventive activities;

- what are the measures of preventive activities;

- how to implement any given preventive measures;

- what auxiliary organizational, legal, technical, personnel and other measures should be taken by the regulatory and supervisory authorities in order to create a platform for effective preventive activities.
