St. Peterburg will host the Russian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Forum on May 23

Discussion of the state of small and medium-sized enterprises and measures necessary to increase its role in the Russian economy. Such tasks are set by the Russian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg on May 23. Representatives of federal and regional legislative and executive authorities, heads of small and medium-sized companies, heads of state and public organizations supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, representatives of the banking sector, consulting and law companies can attend the forum.

The business program of the forum will be opened by the plenary session "Entrepreneurship in Russia: a success story or an academy of failures?". Participants will experience a hard talk dialog, during which the rising stars of the Russian business on their own example will explain about achievements and defeats, that are most typical for domestic entrepreneurs. Within the framework of the forum, participants will consider the aspects of development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Russian: availability of financial resources, efficiency of production, international experience and proven tools to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, the future of SMEs in the digital economy, the export potential of Russian small-sized enterprises. In the business sessions, the forum participants will also discuss the existing challenges and outline ways for further development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

This event will be held as part of the kick-off day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. It is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises "OPORA ROSSII" (SUPPORT OF RUSSIA).
