Farid Abdulganiev: "Competition is the driver of economic growth". Creation of incentives was discussed today in Kazan

Today, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev spoke about the implementation of all requirements of the Standard for development of competition in the republic, noted the main areas for the development of competition at the regional level and shared his experience with other regions. "In 2017, the Republic of Tatarstan ranked 1st in the ranking of the head of regions in terms of promoting development of competition in 2016", - the Minister recalled.  The General Director of JSC "Agency for State Order of the Republic of Tatarstan" Yakov Geller explained about the republic's experience in advocating competition with the help of a commercial informational and educational cluster.

The main objective of the seminar is the exchange of information and experience in the implementation of measures aimed at development of competition, development of suggestions aimed at identification of the main problems in the implementation of the Standard, identification of ways of resolving them and further work on its development in regions.

The standard for development of competition is aimed at creation of efforts for development of competition in the markets of goods and services in the region, transparency of the work of regional authorities, creation of incentives for the protection of small and medium-sized businesses and elimination of administrative barriers.
