Risk-oriented approach will be applied in state metrological supervision
Amendments establishing application of a risk-oriented approach in state metrological supervision were approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1643 of 26.12.2017 and change Provisions on performing this type of supervision.
The approved document establishes criteria for classifying the activities of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs into a certain risk category, and determines decision-making procedure for establishing a risk category.
In addition, the procedure for changing the established risk category to a category of higher or lower danger depending on presence or absence of decree on subjecting the legal entity or individual entrepreneur to administrative liability for committing an administrative offense stated in clause 19.19. is defined.
