The risk-oriented approach will be applied within the framework of the federal state supervision of migration

Respective changes are made by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No.1668 of 27.12.2017 into the Regulation of federal state control (supervision) over migration. This document was prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in order to implement the priority program "Reform of control and supervision activities".

In particular, the Provision on federal state control (supervision) over migration was expanded by appendixes on establishing criteria for classifying the activities of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, employing foreigners and persons without citizenship in Russia, into a risk category. Decision-making procedure for determination of risk category was established.
