Within scope of the forum "Looking into the future" the seminar “Entrepreneurship in the social sphere as a driver of positive changes” was held

The seminar was held on September 22 in the Hotel Complex "Korston".

The seminar was opened by the moderator of the round table, Head of the Centre for Innovation in social sphere of the Republic of Tatarstan, Anton Baklashov. In his welcoming address, he gave a detailed presentation of the results of the Center's work, the activities carried out and the design-educational programs, implemented jointly with the Kazan (Volga) Federal University, on the support measures, provided to social entrepreneurs by the Business Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Foundation "Our Future" and other organizations.

The specific attention was paid to the reports made by the guests from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Yugra. Head of Division of development of entrepreneurship of the Department of economic development of KhMAD-Olga Kashina and Deputy General Director of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of KhMAD-Andrey Panchetovskiy shared their experience and success in development of social entrepreneurship before the audience, as well as the practices, which could be possibly cascaded in the Republic of Tatarsatan. Everybody was particularly interested in the experience of KhMAD in returning up to 80% of the funds, spent by social entrepreneurs for the rental of premises. The seminar also raised the issue of the need for the Republic of Tatarstan to introduce tax holidays for entrepreneurs, which had long been practiced in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other major cities.

The dean of the Department of Communicative Management of the Russian State Social University, Igor Romanov, addressed the issue of communication and advertising in non-profit organizations. It is worth emphasizing the importance of this issue, since practically all NPOs maintain communications permanently, absolutely on different sites, with engagement of various channels, but this is not always effective.

The solemn handing of certificates for upgrading the qualifications of Kazan Federal University to the graduates of the program "Social Entrepreneurship" became a striking end of the evening.  The documents were awarded to the graduates by Head of Division of Innovative Development of KFU, Anton Dyganov and Head of the Department of Marketing of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance of KFU,  Natalia Kalenskaya. The fulfillment of this program became possible with financial and organizational support, provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Fund of support of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
