The "Export ME" Conference was held in the framework of the forum "Looking into the future"

Within framework of the annual forum of entrepreneurship development «Looking into the future" the "Export ME" Conference was held on September 21-22, 2017 in the Hotel Complex Korston from September 21-22, 2017, focusing on tools for the development and support of export-oriented small and medium-sized subjects of the republic.

The conference was arranged by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, NPO "The Business Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan", The Export Support Centre of Tatarstan, JSC "Russian Export Center", Trade Industrial Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A number of events, focused to address the various issues and challenges of export-oriented subjects of SME and a photographic exhibition of exporters of the Republic of Tatarstan were held in the framework of the conference.

Within scope of the training "AIC Export : general skills for communicating with foreign partners" the speaker from Germany, Inna Armstrong, managing partner from Neuventure Global, presented the best techniques, strategies and tools for building export sales systems, and responded to questions from participants on specifics of work  with Chinese and European partners.

The round table "dialogue with the exporter" attracted the most interest and resonance among participants: access to international networks." Ulyana Anufrieva, Head of the Export Support centre of the RT, was the moderator of the event. The participants of the meeting had a unique chance to ask questions to the speakers on various issues of foreign economic activities – from issues on certification of "halal" products to issues on entering the markets of South America.

Natalia Minayeva, Head of Project on work with regional support infrastructure  JSC Russian Export Center, told about the forms of financial and non-financial support of exporters, such as analytical support, compensation of costs for certification, patenting and logistics, financial and educational services of the Group REC, finаncing of participation in exhibition activities and etc. Ruslan Hakalo, Director for sourcing of the company "Leroy Merlin", acquainted the participants in the round table with the principles of selecting suppliers for the company "Leroy Merlin" and noted, that two Russian suppliers, producers of interroom doors and textiles, are represented on the international market in hypermarkets "Leroy Merlin". Arthur Nikolayev, Director of the Department of development and business support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, told the participants about the possibilities of working with the CCI of the RT, such as interaction with the representatives of the CCI abroad, the services of  Translators Guild, work of the International Commercial Arbitration court at CCI. The speakers' speeches culminated in a speech by Andrey Afonin, Director of NPO "The Business Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan". Andrei Afonin summed up the meeting's results and answered the questions of concern for the majority of the participants, related to products certification. 

The conference finalized with the holding of country round tables with experts from Hungary, Latvia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, China, India, Finland, the Republic of Belarus and others and B2B meetings of companies of the Republic of Tatarstan and the regions of Russia with foreign partners.
