On January 16, 2014 panel discussion "Tatarstan : creating the future" within the Gaidar forum "Russia and the world: sustainable development" took place. Within panel discussion on the example of the Republic of Tatarstan such questions, as formation of new model of economic growth, global positioning of territories, creating favorable conditions for business, formation of innovative system, development of the human capital were discussed. That is all those main directions which define region strategy in the global world. As the moderator of discussion the rector of the Russian academy of national economy and public service at the Russian President Vladimir Mau acted. The report on the main directions of strategic development of the republic was made by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

According to article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan of August 2, 2010 No. 63-ZRT "About innovative activity in the Republic of Tatarstan" the order of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan of 31.12.2013 No. 2824-r is approved the State report "About results of innovative activity in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2012". The state report for 2012 contains information on macroeconomic indicators of innovative activity, interaction within activity of Association of innovative regions of Russia, results of development and implementation of republican programs, priority from the point of view of prospects of innovative development, interaction results with federal institutes of development, about implementation of the Innovative memorandum of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2011 - 2013, results of work of financial institutions of development and subjects of innovative infrastructure.

On January 16 in Moscow within the Gaidar forum plenary session on the subject "Doing business in Russia 2.0" took place.

Following the results of research of the World Bank "Business — 2014" the Russian Federation takes the 92nd place, having overcome for a year of 20 positions. According to the research "Business in Russia — 2012" Kazan takes the 5th place among 30 largest cities of Russia under the terms of business.

We remind that subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the Center of export support prepares an exposition of the Republic of Tatarstan for demonstration the export opportunities of the enterprises of the republic at constantly operating exhibition of exporters of Russia and CIS countries in Tehran (Iran). At the Exhibition it will be presented agro-industrial, machine-building complexes, medicine and pharmacy. The Republic of Tatarstan will be presented by the uniform stand. Small and medium-sized enterprises of the republic can provide to the Center of export support a distributing material (advertizing production about the enterprise) for demonstration at the Exhibition. Monthly the responsibles working there, will direct the report on results for last month.

On January 15 in Moscow opening of the Gaidar forum — the international scientific and practical conference "Russia and the world took place: sustainable development". During the first day of work of a forum the deputy minister of economy Artem Zdunov acted within a round table on a subject "A national rating of a condition of investment climate in the Russian regions – the best practicians and what to take as a basis? ". Part in a round table was taken by representatives of Association of innovative regions of Russia, Agency of strategic initiatives, the World Bank and regional authorities.

The resolution of the Cabinet of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 997  of 16.12.2013 approved a state program "Cultural development of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014 - 2020". The Program purpose – satisfaction current and formation of new needs of inhabitants of the Republic of Tatarstan in the sphere of culture, art and cinematography, increase of appeal of cultural institutions, arts and cinematographies for inhabitants and guests of the republic.

During the period from January 15 to January 18, 2014 in Moscow in the building of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration passes the Gaidar forum "Russia and the world: Sustainable development". The chairman of the organizing committee of a forum is the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov. The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, ministers of the federal ministries, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, leading Russian and international experts, representatives of business community will participate in the Forum.

The plan of carrying out checks of activity of legal entities on preparation, storage, processing and realization of scrap of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals for 2014 by the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan is published on the official website of Prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tatarstan. We pay attention of businessmen that information specified in the plan as on structure checked, and within a year isn't subject to date of carrying out check, change. The term of carrying out planned inspection makes no more than five working days on each licensee.

On January 14, 2014 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the meeting with representatives of the Ministry of the industry and trade of the Volgograd region took place. Colleagues support of subjects of small and average business carried out by Tatarstan, and also experience of creation and development of industrial parks interested. During a meeting the deputy chief of  business support Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Sirotkin told about support of businessmen of Tatarstan regarding creation of production infrastructure (science and technology parks, business incubators, special economic zones, the centers of youth innovative creativity, the regional engineering centers, industrial parks). Separately it stopped at the work which is carried out with higher education institutions. For example, in. Naberezhnye Chelny together with KNITU-KAI branch the Citadel project which will allow students to receive practical skills of conducting business activity in the sphere of innovations will be started.

The project of "Road map" of development of small average business of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2016 is published for public discussion on the official website of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
