The Center of export support subordinated to the ministry invites export focused enterprises of Tatarstan to a free educational seminar on a subject: "The organization of foreign economic activity at the enterprise (the general administrative aspects)" which will take place on February 7, 2014. On February 5 at a joint session of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Economy Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that the analysis of main trends of Tatarstan development differs from the situation of previous years. 

The session "Innovative development of enterprises - the basis of competitive growth of regional economy" was held at International Information Centre (Universiade Village, Kazan) and broadcast online on the official Government Portal (http://prav.tatarstan.ru/).

Within development of the "Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030" project work of expert groups on the "Analysis and Definition of Conditions of Accumulation of the Human Capital in the Republic of Tatarstan for Development of Innovative Economy" direction under the leadership of the director general of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization MTsSEI "Leontyevsky center", Dr.Econ.Sci., professor Leonid Limonov and in the "Problems and Prospects of Policy of Employment and Social Protection, including Social Service, in the Republic of Tatarstan" direction under the leadership of the director of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Independent Institute of Social Policy, ordinary professor of NIU "Higher School of Economics", Dr.Econ.Sci. is begun. Lilia Ovcharova. During the period meetings in the ministries and republic departments of research of a condition of the human capital and opportunities of its development and use for development of innovative economy in the Republic of Tatarstan took place from January 3 to January 4, 2014. Along with it experts will conduct researches on identification of social problems existing in the republic, the analysis of quality and availability of social infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan, and also level of its compliance to requirements of the population.

The "Development Bank and Foreign Economic Activity" state corporation (Vneshekonombank) holds annual competition on award of an award for a contribution to social and economic development of Russia ("A development award"). "The development award" is the national annual competition founded by Vneshekonombank in 2012 for stimulation of investment activity and formation of attractive and favorable investment climate in Russia. The Russian legal entities are allowed to participation in competition. Can participate in competition as the projects financed by Vneshekonombank, and other projects corresponding to criteria of competition in the following nominations: • The best infrastructure project; • The best project in industries; • The best project on complex development of territories; • The best project of the subject of small and average business.

Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the share of small and medium-size entrepreneurship in GRP makes only 25 per cent instead of planned 34 per cent. He suggested introducing the standard of local self-government for creating favourable investment climate. 

Rustam Minnikhanov focused on development of infrastructure sites in the republic, noting that there are 10 industrial sites in Tatarstan now. In particular, he mentioned special economic zone “Innopolis”, industrial park “Chistopol”, Kama industrial park “Master”, technopolis “Himgrad”, high technology park “IT park”.

In the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan appeals of Department of an assessment of regulating influence of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with a request arrived to carry out an assessment of regulating influence concerning two drafts of regulations: the draft of the federal law "About modification of the Federal law "About state regulation of production and a turn of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products and about restriction of consumption (drinking) of alcoholic products" regarding improvement of regulation of retail of alcoholic products" and the draft of the order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation "About the approval of Rules of the organization of work on registration and issue of veterinary accompanying documents and the Order of registration of veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form".

On January 31, 2014 the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Sharifullin took part in meeting with the EPU "Elabugagaz" labor staff of JSC Gazprom transgaz Kazan. More than 250 people took part in meeting. Marat Sharifullin acquainted gathered with results of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013, and also answered the arisen questions. Also during visit to the Yelabuga municipal area Marat Sharifullin visited the multipurpose center of providing the state and municipal services where examined a course of implementation of the project on providing the state and municipal services in the principle of "one window".
