Specialists of institutions and departments the Republic of Tatarstan trained from March 11 to March 18, 2014 on the basis of the Educational and methodical center of Federal Antimonopoly Service at the rate "Federal Contract System in the Sphere of Purchases of Goods, Works and Services for Ensuring the State and Municipal Needs", successfully passed total certification. Four representatives of contract service of the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Tatarstan also finished training, having got high points for progress. Graduates of a course will receive certificates of professional development of the established sample.

On March 20, Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got familiar with the Japanese experience in urban reconstruction and development. 

A detour of Tokyo's subcenters started with a visit to an artificial island of Odaiba, which is one of the most attractive areas of Tokyo for housing and office construction. 

Then, Tatarstan delegation went to Minato Mirai district in Yokogama (30km far from Tokyo). Minato Mirai has become a modern urban district after the successful modernization of the old industrial area, former trading port and industrial base. The dynamically developing district is host to exhibition, entertainment and trade complexes, offices of the largest companies, hotels, business centers. 

Rustam Minnikhanov looked around Landmark Tower, the tallest building and third-tallest structure in Japan (296 meters), and other sights in Minato Mirai. 

Also, Tatarstan President saw the industrial museum “Mitsubishi Heavy Industries”. The museum is divided into six zones: Aerospace, Ocean, Transportation, Daily Life Discovery, Environment/Energy and Technology Quest. It introduces models of state-of-the-art developments. 

On March 18, 2014 the deputy minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Shamsiyev and the director of Authorized MSS Natalya Barkova participated in a training seminar in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation (Moscow) concerning preparation of demands from regions for receiving a federal subsidy for completion of works on creation of the multipurpose centers of service (MSS) according to the Resolution of the government of the Russian Federation of January 17, 2014 No. 36 "About the approval of Rules of distribution and granting in 2014 - 2015 of other interbudgetary transfers from the federal budget to budgets of subjects of the Russian Federation on completion of works on MSS network creation".

On March 19, 2014 the Chairman of Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on economy, investments and business Marat Galeyev held the meeting devoted to preparation of offers on modification of the Federal law of 05.04.2013 by No. 44-FZ "On contract system in the sphere of purchases of goods, works, services for ensuring the state and municipal needs". The deputy head of Management of government procurements of the Republic of Tatarstan Aydar Abdullin, the head of development of the competition of Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilyas Galimov, and also specialists of Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan in economy, investments and business took part in meeting.

EXPO-RUSSIA SERBIA 2014 exhibition work, and also the Belgrad business forum which took place on March 5-7, 2014 to Belgrad (Republic Serbia) came to the end. The Republic of Tatarstan on these actions was presented by the following enterprises: • Center of support of export of the Republic of Tatarstan; • JSC Armastek-Ideya; • JSC Zdravmedtekh-Volga Region; • JSC Klion; • OOO "Ledel"; • JSC Tagro; • JSC firma «pluton"; • Center of powder coverings Radar (Belavin R. V. SP); • JSC SMP-Mekhanika; • JSC Tissan.

On March 19, 2014 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a meeting with the management of "mefro wheels GmbH" group of companies - the operating shareholder of "mefro wheels GmbH" group doctor Alfred Fishbakher and the general  director of "mefro wheels Russia" Ilya Davydov. At meeting also there was a managing director of "Goetzpartners corporate finance" Vladimir Mathias and the senior analyst of "Goetzpartners corporate finance" Emil Zakirov, representing interests of "mefro wheels GmbH" group at the Russian Federation. During a meeting refinancing questions are discussed from the Russian banks and providing preferences from the Republic of Tatarstan for modernization of capacities of the "mefro wheels Russia" company in Zainsk.

In the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan the appeal of Department of an assessment of regulating influence of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with a request arrived to carry out an assessment of regulating influence concerning the draft of the federal law "About modification of separate acts of the Russian Federation for the termination of violations of copyright and related rights in information and telecommunication networks, including in the Internet network".

The Export support center of the Republic of Tatarstan subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan  reports about the beginning of free two-month courses on business English for employees  of export focused subjects of small and average business. The course is directed on improvement of knowledge and skills on business communication, business correspondence, company presentation, etc. Following the results of a course the certificate certifying passing of a two-month course of business English will be issued to listeners. The course is designed for heads of the enterprises and specialists of services foreign trade activities, sales and marketing is export the focused small enterprises with level of proficiency of English not below an average.

On March 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Special Advisor to Japanese Prime Minister, Executive Secretary of Private-Public Council on coordination of Russia-Japan interaction at the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa held a working meeting. 

Rustam Minnikhanov and Eiichi Hasegawa discussed prospects for cooperation in the sphere of culture and education as well as the implementation of student exchange programmes. 

Rustam Minnikhanov invited Mr. Hasegawa to visit Kazan.

On March 14, 2014 at local office of the Tatarstan-2030 project the seminar "Strategy of territorial planning of agglomerations of the Republic of Tatarstan" within development of the "Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030" project took place. Representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of transport and road economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Executive committee of Kazan, the Kazan state architectural and construction university, State Unitary Enterprise Tatinvestgrazhdanproyekt, JSC Kazgrazhdanproyekt Institute and republic business communities participated in a seminar.
