Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Special Advisor to Japanese Prime Minister

On March 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Special Advisor to Japanese Prime Minister, Executive Secretary of Private-Public Council on coordination of Russia-Japan interaction at the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa held a working meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov and Eiichi Hasegawa discussed prospects for cooperation in the sphere of culture and education as well as the implementation of student exchange programmes.
Rustam Minnikhanov invited Mr. Hasegawa to visit Kazan.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
