On January 13, at a session of the Economic Council of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on development of industrial sector in 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that one of the main tasks of 2015 is to keep the volume of industrial output and do everything to help enterprises not to lose their markets.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries and agencies, and industrial enterprises took part in the meeting.

Opening the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that all socio-economic indicators were achieved in 2014, and in general results of the year are not bad, and it is important to keep real sector of economy.

“Because of increase in currency exchange rates and appreciation of credit rates and without access to external financing and modern technologies the situation has become more complicated. All these factors cannot be underestimated,” Minnikhanov said. He also noted that there was a minimum unemployment level in the republic during the last few years, but it started increasing at the end of 2014.

On December 31, 2014 the Federal law No. 488-FZ "About industrial policy in the Russian Federation" was adopted. The purposes, tasks and the principles of industrial policy, a circle of participants of its formation and realization were defined by the federal law, and also powers of the Government of the Russian Federation, federal executive authorities, public authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation and local governments in the sphere of industrial policy are regulated.

On December 30, 2014 the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Artyom Zdunov held meeting on summing up activity of organizations of business support infrastructure in 2014 and discussion plans for 2015. Heads of the regional centers of engineering, business incubators, centers of prototyping, the Center of youth innovative creativity, the Center of export support coordination of the Republic of Tatarstan, Guarantee fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and State Budgetary Institution Center of Business Support of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in meeting.

According to the resolution of presidium of Republican council of society of inventors and rationalizers of the Republic of Tatarstan of 16.12.2014 for long-term vigorous inventive activity the head of department of the state support of investment projects of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – the honored inventor of the Republic of Tatarstan Voltaire Levashov was awarded by a breastplate "For merits in OIR".

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan carries out an assessment of the regulating influence of the bill of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 71-5 "About modification of the Land code of the Republic of Tatarstan and recognition of the become invalid article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan "About modification of the Land code of the Republic of Tatarstan". The bill of the Republic of Tatarstan is prepared for implementation of separate provisions of federal laws of June 23, 2014 No. 171-FZ "About modification of the Land code of the Russian Federation and separate acts of the Russian Federation" and of July 21, 2014 No. 217-FZ "About modification of the Housing code of the Russian Federation and separate acts of the Russian Federation regarding legislative regulation of the relations on hiring of premises of housing stock of social use", and also reductions of separate standards of the legislation of the Republic of Tatarstan in compliance with the changes made to the Federal law of July 24, 2002 No. 101-FZ "About a turn of lands of agricultural purpose".

The prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tatarstan approved the plan of carrying out by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan of checks of activity of legal entities for preparation, storage, processing and realization of scrap of ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals for 2015.

Representatives of 13 territorial authorities and also central office of Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia were discussing preliminary results of realization in pilot regions of the Standard of development of the competition (further - the Standard) on December 25, 2014 in Kazan. The Standart provides introduction of the best the practician of stimulation of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation. Along with Khabarovsk Region, the Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd region and St. Petersburg also Tatarstan was chosen to the number of pilot territories of introduction and implementation of the Standard in the current year.
