The organizing committee of the National Technology Initiative Olympiad (STI Olympiad) approved five new competition profiles. Now the STI Olympiad has 17 profiles, under 9 profiles the winners in 2018 will have privileges  when entering the Russian engineering institutes.

The registration for participation in the profiles started and will last until October 31, 2017. 

Today the Ministry of Economy hosted one of the stages of the face-to-face competitive selection of the Republican Contest "Up!" - the Republican Olympiad of social cases.

A welcoming address to the participants of the Contest was made by the Deputy Minister, Oleg Pelevin. The participants of the Republican Olympiad of social cases evaluated the jury, which included representatives of the Ministry of the Economy, the Youth Government, social organizations of the Republic and other experts.

On the conference of informational communication technologies "ICT in state sector: on the way to digital society', which took place on September 28, 2017, the issues of gradual transition of the state to a centralized system of information resources on the basis of the cloud-based model were discussed. The speakers noted that the increasing attention was paid to the security of state systems and the development of public services for citizens.

From 27 to 29 of September 2017, the 15th international franchise exhibition "BUYBRAND Expo 2017" was held in Moscow, where more than 200 Russian and international brands were presented, as well as the products and services needed to start a business.

On 15.10.2017, the applications for participation in the XIII Republican competition "Fifty-best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" will be finalized. Individuals from the Republic of Tatarstan, the regions of the Russian Federation and foreign nationals are invited to participate in the competition.

From 2 to 3 of November 2017, the International forum "Orenburg - the heart of Eurasia" will start in the city of Orenburg.

Like in previous years, the Forum will be the venue for the signing important agreements, strategic business negotiations with new partners and a key platform for the discussion of economic, informational and cultural links in the Eurasian Space.

On September 29, 2017, in anticipation of the celebration of the International Day of Senior People the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in its good tradition held a solemn meeting for the Ministry's veterans, who over the years of their lives contributed their efforts and knowledge into the socio-economic development of the republic.

Today, in the city of Kazan, in the House of the Government of the RT a meeting of the Board of Directors of OJSC "Tatneftekhiminvest Holding", chaired by the President ofTatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, was held. The Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexei Pesoshin, participated in the work. 

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a monthly rating of socio-economic development of the municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January-August 2017.
