Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, met today with Maksim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, within the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, also took part in the meeting.
Issues of developing a unified mechanism for the development of territories with preferential conditions for doing business in the Russian Federation were the main topic of the discussion, in which also participated governors of the regions – members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR).
Governors of the Kaluga region, the Ulyanovsk region, the Perm region, representatives of the Regulatory Impact Assessment Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Department for Regional Development of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and others took part in the discussion.
Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, takes part in the events of the Russian Investment Forum Sochi-2018 (February 14-16, 2018) as a member of the delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the Forum Farid Abdulganiev visited the session "Best Practices in Social and Economic Development" with the participation of D. Kozak, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, as well as the session "Is it Easy to Be an Entrepreneur? Opinion of business and government". It is expected that the Minister of Economy will also attend the session "Monocities: Projecting the Future" with the participation of Igor Shuvalov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
A number of documents – memorandums and agreements concerning the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan – will be signed during the Forum.
Today, the Russian Investment Forum 2018 started its work in Sochi on the site of the Main Media Center of the Olympic Park (the events of the Forum are scheduled for February 15-16). Its key topic this year is "Forming the Image of the Future".
The Forum is held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the participation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Heads of practically all regions, as well as top managers of leading companies will take part in the sessions concerning healthcare, ecology, digital education and innovative development of cities, the future labor market of Russia.
Within the framework of the session, the Republic of Tatarstan was thanked for its contribution to the needs of the Russian Federation's economy in qualified specialists in the field of industrial management. The successful implementation of the project of the Corporate University "Alabuga" was noted.
A training seminar for NGO representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan "How to receive a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the implementation of a social project?" will be held at the German-Russian Institute of New Technologies, KNITU-KAI

The Grand Prix of the All-Russian competition "Best Mentoring Practices" was received by Nikolai Izosimov, commander of the training and flight squad of PJSC Aeroflot, from Moscow. He became a mentor of the year with a project of new employees adaptation and accompanying them during specialized training. The award ceremony took place on February 14 in Moscow at the "Mentor - 2018" forum.
In the nomination "Mentoring in business and entrepreneurship", the first place was taken by Aydar Nafisovich Bulatov, Enterprise Plant, Business Support and Development Foundation, Republic of Tatarstan.

The first all-Russian forum "Mentor-2018", launched on the territory of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements in Moscow on February 13, has already been visited by more than 13,000 people, says Igor Karachin, Director of Communications of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).
According to him, interest in the topic of mentoring is huge. The organizers did not expect that during the first hours of the forum the forum would attract a capacity crowd.

Representatives of all 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, major corporations, government authorities, and businesses participate in the operation of the Forum.
Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Bulat Khaziakhmetov participates in the event on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Representatives of the Factory of Entrepreneurship, the University of Talents, Republican higher educational institutions and enterprises also take part in the Forum.
