Pupils from Kazan are recognized as the best Junior entrepreneurs of Russia Interregional Public Organization "Junior achievement Russia" summed up the results of All-Russia business plan competition "Be enterprising". The jury selected 7 winning teams, 4 of them are from Tatarstan. The leading team is the company called "Joy" from school No.33 of the Aviastroitelny District of Kazan. Pupils are engaged in sewing souvenir dolls-amulets in various textile techniques. They will represent Russia and Tatarstan at the International Exhibition of participants of the "Junior Achievement" program in Vienna (Austria).

A school company is a game format for learning the basics Everyone can join the program by attending any event of the "First children co-working" or creating a "School company" in their school. The program is free of charge and open to all pupils of Tatarstan.

Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a monthly rating of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan municipal entities in January 2018. Leading positions are taken by Kazan (1st place), Almetyevsk Region (2nd place), Tukaevsky Region (3rd place).

Kukmorsky Region gained four positions in the rating. These changes resulted from an increase in the total area of commissioned residential buildings, shipments of products of own production and a reduction in the registered unemployment rate.

Issues of improving the production process in Russia, developing the supply chain and increasing the productivity in the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed today at the Kaizen workshop held in the Special economic zone "Alabuga" as part of the "Cross year of Russia and Japan". The issues of increasing the enterprise productivity and enhancing the corporate activity were reviewed at the workshop. Bulat Khaziakhmetov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the event and made a report on the main ways of supporting business in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The respective amendments made into the Federal Law "On the Procedure for departure from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation" came into force today.  The time period for issuing a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation certifying his personality outside the Russian Federation with an electronic secure storage device has been reduced from four to three months. The amendments concern also those who apply for an international Russian passport at the place of residence. It will increase the convenience and accessibility of the service and reduce the time spent.

Farid Abdulganiev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented the socio-economic development of Tatarstan to the delegation of Uzbekistan Gulomzhon Ibragimov, Hokim of Tashkent Region, was especially interested in measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan for further cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The Government of the Russian Federation approved the list of state services provided by federal executive bodies and non-budget funds basing on a comprehensive request upon a single application of the applicant (decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 260-p dated February 19, 2018). The document is aimed at implementing one of the basic principles of "one window", according to which a citizen can receive several services by contacting the multipurpose center with a single comprehensive application.

Experience of implementing kaizen, the philosophy of continuous improvement of processes in manufacturing, will be presented in the special economic zone "Alabuga" during two kaizen seminars organized by the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the Newly Independent States (ROTOBO) on March 2nd and 5th in the special economic zone.

Japanese experts (representatives of "Toyota Engineering" and other companies), that carried out diagnostics of Russian enterprises in 2017 and collected experience in understanding the main issues and goals of Russian manufacturing companies, will act as speakers at the kaizen seminars.

It was said by Behnam Gurbanzada, Counsellor to the Deputy Chairman of the Board at Sberbank.

The bank is planning to test Islamic banking in Tatarstan, Chechnya and Bashkortostan.

Behnam Gurbanzada mentioned that a plastic card is expected to be issued. 

"We can start piloting retail deposits, and using these deposits we will issue plastics cards to help customers to finance their consumer needs", quoted him TASS.

A press conference on the results of implementation of the state program "Development of the natural gas fuel market in the Republic of Tatarstan" in 2017 and plans for 2018 was held today at 02.00 PM.

The event was attended by Rustem Sibgatullin, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and Director of the Department of Development of Entrepreneurship and Competition.

1641 vehicles were transferred to compressed natural gas (methane) in 2017, including 1187 were transferred by legal entities.

The Training center for entrepreneurs opened in Kazan on February 27, 2018. The Training center is located in the House of the Entrepreneur, a new platform for rendering specialized services for small and medium-sized businesses of the republic.

The Training center is aimed at becoming a platform for educational activities by the leading business specialists in the most popular fields, professional retraining programs; helping entrepreneurs to find answers to questions about possible ways of improving business, ask questions about available forms of state support to small and medium-sized businesses.
