Russia Halal Expo takes place in the X International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit". Over 80 companies from Russia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are presenting their products at the exhibition. The exposition is divided into separate branch-specific zones: food products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, toys and children's books, other goods. 

Kazan is hosting the X International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit". Over 3 thousand guests from over 50 countries are taking part in the summit.  The forum will last three days. The first International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in Kazan in 2009, and since then it became the main platform for economic cooperation between the Russian regions and the Islamic countries.

Joint Credit Bureau (JCB) summed up the results of credit activity of regions in the 1st quarter of 2018.

Tatarstan became the leader by the lending growth rate: lending increased by 55% compared to the previous year, while the amount of new credits increased by 16%. The lowest growth rate is recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, where lending is increased by 33% year-on-year, while the amount of new credits increased by 20%. 

An Open Day will be held for representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises on May 11, in the Entrepreneur's House (28, Peterburjskaya Str., Kazan). Over 15 specialists will consult on how to get a leasing grant, will speak about microfinancing of organizations, measures of state support and how to start a business. They will provide legal, accounting and tax assistance.

Today, personnel of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated the home front worker Nina Kurganova on the forthcoming great date. She has worked for 25 years in the State Planning Commission of the Tatarstan ASSR and contributed to the development of economy in the post-war period. 

During the preparation and holding of the World Cup from May 25 to July 25, the multipurpose centers ("My documents") won't accept documents for the service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for registration of citizens of the Russian Federation, who arrived to Kazan from other regions of the Russian Federation. For registration, applicants shall apply directly to the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation at the place of stay.
