Today, a videoconference meeting was held with the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, members of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, chaired by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The agenda of the meeting was devoted to the development and implementation of measures of state support for regional economies to overcome the adverse economic consequences of the spread of coronavirus infection.

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan will provide financial assistance to small and medium enterprises in the form of a microloan at 1%. The loan is available for SMEs from industries that were not previously covered by federal and republican measures and were not included in the list of the most affected sectors. Support will be provided, first of all, to entrepreneurs engaged in the real sector of the economy and will begin to be implemented from April 27.

For the current period in Tatarstan, five banks approved 201 applications from entrepreneurs included in the list of sectors most affected by the coronavirus pandemic for loans at 0% for the remuneration of employees totaling 419.0 million rubles.

The largest enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan will launch new lines for the production of medical masks. The total production of medical masks at the enterprises of the Republic, taking into account the launch of new lines, will be 37.45 million pieces per month. The launch of the equipment is scheduled until April 29. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a republican meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a daily meeting in the video communication mode as part of implementation of the Plan for ensuring sustainable development of the economy of the Republic. The heads of the Nurlatskiy, Sarmanovskiy and Tetyushskiy districts submitted their reports to the working group. In municipalities, continuous work with business community is organized, meetings are held with representatives of banks to quickly inform entrepreneurs about the package of support measures developed for them.

Along with federal measures implemented on the territory of the Republic, the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan has developed a package of preferential support mechanisms for SMEs of industries not previously covered by federal and republican measures and not included in the list of the most affected sectors. Support will be provided, first of all, to entrepreneurs engaged in the real sector of the economy and will be launched from April 27.

Revitalization of the Republican Marketing Center must be taken under special control. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov at a meeting with the heads of regions on implementation of the plan for the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic. The event was held in a videoconference mode with participation of urban districts and municipal districts. Reports to the working group were presented by: Buinskiy, Drozhzhanovskiy and Laishevskiy districts. Another hot topic of discussion was the unjustified rise in prices for a number of food products.

Entrepreneurs of Tatarstan have the opportunity to obtain loans with a zero interest rate for the payment of salaries to employees. Such a support measure became available due to the fact that the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation signed an agreement with 14 banks of Russia on financing interest-free loans. In particular, Ak Bars Bank joined the program, and a number of republican banks sent applications for connection.
