Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov congratulated on International Intellectual Property Day

Dear scientists, inventors, innovators and efficiency experts!

On behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on International Intellectual Property Day!

The holiday in 2020 is celebrated under the motto “Innovation for a green future”. Thus, not only the importance of technological breakthroughs, inventions and scientific discoveries is emphasized, but also our responsibility and task for the implementation of “clean” and environmentally friendly solutions, which is especially important in view of the current situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Of course, the economic development of Tatarstan is determined, first of all, by successful work of enterprises of the republic. Their competitive products have always been a good basis for the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations with foreign countries, Russian regions and are the main criterion for the effectiveness of development of the economy of the republic.

Intellectual property, being an important strategic resource and a powerful development tool, is now becoming increasingly important for business. Today, the greatest contribution to improving the competitiveness of enterprises is made by intellectual property.

We are rightfully proud of the people who contribute to development of innovation and creativity, create domestic intellectual capital, and make a significant contribution to the development of technologies and increase the competitiveness of enterprises and domestic industry.
