Innovative Technologies Promotion Fund continues projects selection of the second stage of “NTI Development” competition

The “NTI-Development” competition is aimed at supporting R&D for the purpose of implementation of NTI road maps approved by Presidium of Presidential Council for Modernization of Economy and Innovative Development of Russia.

Within the context of competition, it is planned to select projects for research and development (R&D) works on the basis of priority thematic trends list, made jointly with National Technological Initiative (NTI) task group for each road map, considering technological barriers: AeroNet, AutoNet, MariNet, NeuroNet, HealthNet, EnergyNet and TechNet.

While projects selecting the following R&D orientations will be taken into account:

  • trends specified by the President of Russia Order of 01/12/2016 # 642 “On the Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation” allowing creation of technologies being basis for products and services domestic market innovative development, stable position of Russia in the foreign market, and that will provide:
  • move towards digital, intelligent production techniques, robot systems, new materials and engineering concepts, move towards environmentally friendly and resource-saving power systems, countermeasures against man made impact, biogenic, sociocultural threats, terrorism and ideological extremism, as well as cyberthreats and other public nuisances, threats to economy and state, etc.;
  • end-to-end industrial technologies required to achieve the results of all NTI road maps, including development of domestic electronic component base, generation of composite materials, etc.
  • assistance in elaboration of regulatory legal acts and standards facilitating implementation of NTI road maps targets.

Enterprises qualified as small ones in accordance with Federal Law # 209-FZ and without existing contracts with the Fund may take part in the competition.

The amount of the grant will make up about 20 million rubles. The Fund provides support under condition of co-financing from own or attracted funds in the amount of at least 30% of the grant amount.

Receipt of applications for the second stage of the competition is opened until May 15, 2017.

Applications shall be submitted in electronic format through automated system at a website: http://online.fasie.ru.

The results of the competition will be summarized in summer of 2017.
