The Russian Federation contract system occupied 11th place in state procurement systems of the countries – OECD members

World Bank Group conducted a research “Comparative analysis of state procurements in 2017” (hereinafter - research), covering state procurement systems of 180 countries.

State procurement systems were examined in the following fields: estimate of customer needs, publishing of procurements information, preparation of applications; submission of applications; opening of envelopes, winner evaluation and award decision; contents and conditions of a contract; enforcement of a contract; payment of fulfilled obligations under a contract.

According to the research results, the Russian Federation state procurement system was awarded the highest merit upon indication “needs estimation, publishing of procurements information, preparation of applications” among the countries – OECD members.
