Six monotowns of the republic were included to the list of monotowns of the Russian Federation approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation

Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 29.07.2014 No. 1398-r is approved the the list of monotowns of the Russian Federation. The list includes 313 municipalities which are divided into 3 categories depending on their social and economic situation: Category 1. Monotowns with the most difficult economic and social situation (including with problems of functioning of the city-forming organizations). From the Republic of Tatarstan on this category the list included monotowns Zelenodolsk and Kamsky Polyany. Category 2. Monotowns with risks of deterioration of economic and social situation. From the Republic of Tatarstan this category included the monotown of Yelabuga. Category 3. Monotowns with a stable social and economic situation. From the Republic of Tatarstan on this category the list included the monotowns Mendeleevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
