Results of innovative activity of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013

The results of the innovative activity which is carried out by the republican enterprises and the organizations in 2013 are summed up.

According to Territorial body of Federal State Statistics Service in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013 the share of the industrial enterprises which are engaged in innovative activity made 21% of total number of the surveyed organizations (in 2012 this indicator made 19,1%), and a share of the organizations which were engaged in technological innovations - 18,7% (in 2012 – 16,9%).

In comparison with other regions which are a part of Association of innovative regions of Russia, the Republic of Tatarstan on these indicators wins first place.

The share of shipped innovative production in the total amount of the shipped goods, works, services of own production on the industry and services sector organizations in 2013 grew, in comparison with 2012 on 2,7 percentage points and made 21,1%. The main share of shipped innovative production is the share of the organizations of industrial production – 97,4%.

Besides, in 2013 of 127 organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan were engaged in scientific researches and development that is 10 organizations more, than in 2012. 1460 applications for issue of patents for the inventions were submitted, useful models and industrial samples and is given out patents – 1289 units. On these indicators the Republic of Tatarstan also steadily wins first place among regions of Association of innovative regions of Russia.

For improvement of the reached indicators of development of innovative activity in the republic and increases in number of the organizations which are engaged in innovative activity, and also the volume of shipped innovative production a number of actions is carried out.

Today in the Republic of Tatarstan as the effective measures stimulating innovative development of the enterprises of real sector of economy, creation and functioning of the regional engineering centers and the prototyping centers is considered.

In 2014 work on development and functioning of already existing engineering centers, and also on creation of the new engineering centers and the prototyping centers in the sphere of a robotics, digital technologies of high-precision production, energy saving technologies and technologies of processing of raw materials is continued.

The created infrastructure is directed on increase of technological and innovative development of the industry of the republic, and also on import substitution of a domestic production.
