5 July 2014, Saturday
In May, 2014 within working meetings of identification mission of the World bank as a part of the leading economist Alvaro Gonsalez and consultants Lawrence Kay and Tatyana Ponomareva and representatives of federal authorities discussion of mechanisms of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation and in particular introduction of the Standard of development of the competition in subjects of the Russian Federation took place.
The standard of development of the competition as a whole received a positive assessment:  "We translated this document into English, and it was very pleasant to me to read it because it would be possible to write the Standard on 350 pages, but you managed to state everything simply, laconically and is very focused.  I can tell that this real achievement, I can tell about it, as about a successful example.  Similar to that initiative which you now described, it - that was carried out in Australia in 1997.  Similar work was carried out on streamlining of the relations between the center and regions...  You mention here tools of an assessment of economic cooperation and development, it is almost based on that experience which was got by Australia", - the leading economist of the World bank Alvaro Gonsalez reported.
Representatives of the World bank following the results of examination comparison of various indicators of quality of the competitive environment in dynamics and between various regions is offered. This offer is already considered and recorded an order of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov of April 2, 2014 No. ISh-P13-2189 – until the end of 2014 pilot approbation of the Standard of development of the competition has to come to the end in 5 regions of Russia: in Khabarovsk territory, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ulyanovsk and Volgograd areas.
