The of Internet initiatives Development Fund announced competition "RAS: Regions About Startups"

Competition purpose "RAS: Regions About Startups" - Internet business promoting among the population through electronic mass media.
Competition is held during the period from April 23 to May 23, 2014. The citizens of the Russian Federation who are representatives of regional mass media can take part in competition.
The participant of competition has to publish in the specified terms on a site of the mass media which representative he is, a material on one of the offered subjects:
- Regional Internet projects;
- Socially significant Internet projects which solve problems of citizens, a large number of people;
- Trends and tendencies in the Runet;
- Private life of a startup;
- Demand of Internet projects: today and tomorrow;
- Regional opportunities for startups in receiving the help (search of monetary, material and expert resources);
- The review of profile actions in the region.
Materials can be published in any available electronic format (article, the video reporting, инфографика, etc.). After the publication the participant of competition has to send the link to a material to konkurs@iidf.ru mail with a mark "RAS". During the period from May 24 to May 25, 2014 the jury of competition will select the best works from among the sent materials. The first prize – a paid press tour for authors of the best works in the Moscow office of IIDF and participation in final the second Accelerator of IIDF.

A part of jury of competition are:
- Kirill Varlamov, director of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund(IIDF)
- Dmitry Pavlyuchenkov, deputy director for marketing and advertizing IIDF
- Alexander Izryadnov, director of IIDF communications
- Maria Lapuk, head of the press service of IIDF
- Anton Dolgov, head of the Mine Okruga.rf Internet project, graduate of the first set of the Accelerator of IIDF

Selection criteria of a winner material are:
- Completeness of disclosure of a subject;
- Originality of approach to material giving.
