The educational program "Development of automobile and chemical clusters : competitive superiority of the region" for delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan came to the end

Within an educational program participants visited the cities of the region of Flanders: Antwerp, Lommel, Ghent and Brussels.

The delegation of Tatarstan examined features of functioning of automobile and chemical clusters of Belgium and prospects of their development. Also experiment of the Czech Republic on development of cluster policy in a transitional economy was presented. Visit of the leading organizations of automobile and chemical clusters of Flanders by Flanders Drive and Essencia Flanders, one of the seaports largest and most developed in the world - the port of Antwerp, and also the advanced logistic company DSV is organized. The main aspects of their work, business model, and also examples of cluster initiatives were considered.

Meetings with the director of the Czech national cluster association Pavla Bruskova, the director "Brussels +" Vladimir Linkautan, the director of development of a chemical cluster, the port of Antwerp Xavier Vanrolleguem, the managing director of the project for development of innovations in a chemical cluster of Flanders of F-ist Jan van Havenber took place.

Following the results of participants of the program joint conceptual offers on further development of cluster initiatives in Tatarstan will be prepared.

Prospects of development of a cluster will be also discussed at a discussion platform of the international conference "Partnership for Development of Clusters" planned for April 23-24, 2014.
