Enlarged meeting of Committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on industrial policy

On April 7, 2014 in the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) (Moscow) will take place expanded meetings of Committee on industrial policy, regulation of natural monopolies and to the tariffs, devoted to research presentation "Special economic zones: experience and prospects". Special economic zones are the large-scale federal project aimed at the development of regions by attraction of direct Russian and foreign investments. They are urged to become powerful points of growth of economy in several key spheres – the industry, logistics, innovations and tourism. Recently development of ways of development of SEZ quickened, practice of their functioning is comprehended, new versions of concepts of bills of territorial educations with special economic operating conditions are developed.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
