Rustam Minnikhanov: “Aksubaevo region can achieve higher results”

On February 11 at a summary session of the local Council of Aksubaevo region Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that economic potential and hard-working people can help the region to achieve higher results.
Vice-Premier, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Chairman of the Council of municipalities Minsagit Shakirov took part in the session.
Head of the region Kamil Gilmanov noted positive dynamics in social and economic development. Thus, by results of 2013, the GRP increased by 5 per cent and made 6.5 bln rubles, per capita income increased by 16 per cent, average salary - by 16.5 per cent. 2013 was successful for region’s budget system. The revenue plan was fulfilled for 102 per cent, the amount of income made 590 mln rubles.
Kamil Gilmanov focused on main tasks to be realized in 2014, noting in particular inventory of immovable property, land plots, increase of control for reliability of information given in tax accounts.
According to Kamil Gilmanov, proceeds of local agricultural industry made 881.27 mln rubles in 2013 due to solid regional and federal support.
Housing construction plan was fulfilled for 100 per cent. The share of small enterprises makes 90 per cent of trade turnover. There are 89 small enterprises and 483 self-employed people in the region.
There are wood processing, building block and furniture production factories, poultry incubators, and 43 farms working in the region.
The birthrate increased from 12 to 14.3.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted positive changes happening in the region. He added that summer Universiade was the main event in 2013 that influenced development of Tatarstan. Citizens of Aksubaevo region were fully engaged in construction of the football stadium and Universiade culture programme, he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov continued that demographic situation shows degree of development of any territory, noting that natural population increase in Tatarstan made 10.2 thousand people in 2013.
Tatarstan President also spoke about development of Tatarstan economy focusing on attraction of investments to the republic. Speaking about municipalities, he asked to pay attention to development of infrastructure platforms.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked local citizens for their work and wished success in 2014.
Tatarstan citizens aged 18 to 35 can participate in the federal competition of scientific research projects "UMNIK", the winners of which will receive a grant of 500 thousand rubles for the subsequent commercialization of a scientific startup.
A meeting of the working group on ensuring the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.
On April 24, 2026, Elena Filippova, Head of the Regulatory Impact Assessment and Competition Development Department of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the interregional round table "The Digital Future of the Regions: Introducing digital Tools into Regulatory Impact Assessment", organized by the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the City of Moscow.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, held a meeting with representatives of business associations and public organizations of the Republic. The event was attended by representatives of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Vysokogorsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan.
