The law on local government is brought into accord with the federal legislation

Since January 1, 2014 the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan No. 98-ZRT by which changes are made to questions of local value of municipal areas and city districts came of 09.12.2013 into force. Implementation of the measures directed on strengthening of an international and interfaith consent, support and development of languages is referred to questions of local government and culture of the people of Russia, realization of the rights of ethnic minorities, ensuring social and cultural adaptation of migrants, prevention of the international (interethnic) conflicts. The organization and implementation of actions for territorial defense, question of the approval of schemes of placement of advertizing designs is in addition carried to questions of local value of settlements, municipal areas and the city districts of the Republic of Tatarstan (the document defining locations of advertizing designs, types and types of the advertizing designs which installation is allowed on these places).
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
