Today in Kazan within the framework of the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: Kazanforum" a memorandum of understanding was signed on the site of the Kazan Expo IEC between the Russian Export Center Joint Stock Company and the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization Delovaya Rossiya.

The document was signed by Rustam Ismailov, Co-chairman of the Tatarstan branch of Delovaya Rossiya, and Svetlana Bobrova, Head of the Representative Office of the Russian Export Center in Kazan.

The memorandum is aimed at developing the export activities of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan, raising their awareness of state export support measures and the services of the Russian Export Center, facilitating companies' entry into foreign markets, expanding international cooperation and forming practical mechanisms for supporting export-oriented projects within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".

The parties agreed to develop joint work on identifying companies with export potential, conducting initial diagnostics of their readiness for foreign markets, directing entrepreneurs to specialized support tools for the Russian Export Center, as well as preparing proposals to improve support mechanisms for export-oriented small, medium and large businesses.

"For Tatarstan companies, export today is a whole chain of dozens of practical tasks. It is at these stages that a competent support infrastructure is especially important for entrepreneurs. The memorandum with the Russian Export Center will allow us to identify export-oriented companies more systematically, help them undergo initial diagnostics of their readiness for foreign markets, and connect them to existing REC tools faster. For Tatarstan businesses, this is an opportunity to shorten the path from interest in exports to a real deal," said Rustam Ismailov, co-chairman of the Tatarstan branch of Delovaya Rossiya.

In addition, the parties intend to summarize problematic issues that entrepreneurs face when carrying out export activities and prepare proposals for their resolution, including improving law enforcement practices and mechanisms for business interaction with support institutions.

Delovaya Rossiya is an all-Russian public organization representing the interests of leaders of private non-resource companies. The organization, founded in 2001, unites more than 10,000 Russian businessmen. The total number of employees at the enterprises of Delovaya Rossiya is more than 4.5 million people, and the total annual revenue of the enterprises exceeds 10 trillion rubles.
