Midkhat Shagiakhmetov congratulates on the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

Dear veterans! Dear residents of the Republic of Tatarstan! Please accept our sincere congratulations on the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory!

On this sacred day for the whole country, we are proud to recall that Tatarstan made a huge contribution to the Victory. More than 700,000 of our countrymen went to the front, more than half of them did not return. No less significant was the feat of the home front workers: enterprises produced military equipment and uniforms, villagers provided the army with food, and medics rescued the wounded.

Today we are defending the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War, educating young people on the example of the heroism of the Soviet people and strengthening the unity of peoples in the Year of the Unity of Russia.

The participants of the Special Military Operation continue the work of the Victors, protecting the sovereignty and security of the country. As during the Great Patriotic War, the republic united to help the front: thousands of volunteers help soldiers and their families at the call of their hearts.

The Year of Military and Labor Valor gives us a reason to express our boundless respect to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War and those who are currently serving for the benefit of our Motherland as part of a Special military operation.

Dear veterans! We honor your immortal feat and dedication to the Motherland! May you be surrounded by the love and care of your loved ones.
