Tatarstan is among the top five leaders in the number of young entrepreneurs

More than 35.5 thousand Tatarstan citizens under the age of 35 are engaged in business activities in the republic.
This is almost a third of the total number of individual entrepreneurs in Tatarstan and the fifth result in the number of young sole proprietors among the regions. Moscow (112 thousand), the Moscow Region (89 thousand), the Krasnodar Territory (61 thousand) and St. Petersburg (54 thousand) also shared the leading positions in terms of the number of young entrepreneurs in Russia.

Young entrepreneurs from Tatarstan are most often engaged in trade (12.6 thousand), cargo transportation (10.7 thousand) and scientific and technical activity (about 3 thousand sole proprietors).

In total, as of March this year, about 189,000 small and medium-sized businesses operate in Tatarstan, including about 121.5 sole proprietors. 

It should be recalled that the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with subordinate organizations, provides comprehensive support to small and medium-sized businesses through preferential micro-loan financing, leasing and the provision of guarantees.

Tatarstan's small and medium-sized businesses also have access to a range of non-financial services that cover the entire business development cycle, from the start of a project to the launch of an enterprise on foreign markets.

This is an opportunity to participate in regional and international exhibitions and fairs, certification and product promotion, professional development of employees, assistance in entering marketplaces, as well as educational and consulting support, including adaptation to tax changes.
