March 26, 2026 — A new selection of particularly significant projects (PSP) grants began on March 26. Even more companies that refine and implement software will be able to contribute to strengthening technological independence and import substitution of foreign IT solutions.

This year, the list of documents required at the application stage has been significantly reduced and the time for preparing detailed technical specifications, a calendar plan and a project estimate has been increased to 3 months from the moment the decision was made to assign the project the status of an PSP. In addition, reporting during the monitoring period of the implementation of the PSP has been reduced by more than 2 times.

About PSP and grants

New IT projects aimed at replacing industrial foreign software can receive the status of an PSP. The projects will receive a government grant of up to 50% of their cost. The grant amount will range from 100 million to 2 billion rubles.

Applications are accepted until April 27, and a decision on support will be made by the end of May. Applications can only be submitted by customers who refine and implement the software, as well as customer groups in the form of a consortium.

  • The project corresponds to the priority areas of the industrial competence centers (ICC), for which there are no PSP being implemented or having been completed.
