Tatarstan technology companies will receive support when entering the stock exchange and investment platforms

Republican technology companies will be able to reimburse the costs associated with entering the stock market and attracting investments through specialized platforms. The selection of applicants for grant support, designed to ease the financial burden of issuing and placing securities, began yesterday.

The state support implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development within the framework of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" is designed to reduce the costs of issuing companies and boost the flow of private investment into the innovation sector. The mechanism provides for reimbursement of both the costs already incurred after the successful placement of shares, as well as future expenses provided that the securities are placed within the next two years. The selection operator is the Engineering and Innovation Support Center.

The following categories of organizations can apply:

— small technology companies (STK);

— technology companies with revenue from 4 billion to 10 billion rubles;

— technology holdings with revenues of up to 10 billion rubles.

The amount of compensation depends on the chosen investment attraction tool:

— placement of shares on the stock exchange: up to 80 million rubles for technology companies and technology holdings with revenues of up to 10 billion and up to 50 million rubles for STK;

— placement of shares on the platform of the Moscow Stock Exchange MOEX.Start: up to 15 million rubles;

— placement of shares on investment platforms: up to 10 million rubles.

Documented expenses for the services of organizers, legal support, audit and reporting on IFRS, preparation of investment memoranda, as well as holding events to find and attract investors are accepted for reimbursement. The result of providing support will be the attraction of private investment in the placed securities.

Companies that have already successfully placed their securities must apply by May 27, 2026 on the Portal for the provision of state financial support measures. Priority will be given to small technology companies, as well as to those who develop products in areas critical to Russia's technological sovereignty.
