The Mufti of Tatarstan met with the Chairman of the AAOIFI Board of Trustees in Kazan

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Chairman of the Sharia Board of Kuwait Finance House Sheikh, Dr. Syed Mohammed Al–Syed Abdulrazzak Al-Tabtabae, Finance Director - Director of the AAOIFI Representative Center in Russia Amir Al-Musa and other officials. Before the start of the negotiations, the participants performed Friday prayer at the mosque.

During the conversation, Mufti Kamil Hazrat described in detail the history of the development of Islam in the region. Special attention was paid to the key areas of work of the Duma of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Islamic finance, in particular, the successful practical experience of implementing a pilot project on partnership finance in accordance with Federal Law.

At the end of the meeting, as a sign of remembrance of the visit, the Mufti of Tatarstan presented the guests with a reprint edition of the Holy Quran "Kazan Basmasy".
