The use of AI is popular among Tatarstan entrepreneurs when conducting business inspections

Proven Business Digital Platform (prov-biz.ru ) was launched in the republic in 2018. The portal was created to promptly inform business entities about the current legal requirements in the field of control (supervisory) activities. The platform provides businesses with free access to useful services and knowledge that allow them to effectively prepare for interaction with regulatory authorities. 

The project was implemented on the initiative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic.

Interactive questionnaires (checklists) are also posted on the Verified Business portal to prepare entrepreneurs for the upcoming audit. This is a list of actions that helps entrepreneurs prepare for the control and supervisory event.

As of today, the total number of visitors to the resource has exceeded 19,000 people.

For the convenience of entrepreneurs, the smart chatbot "Entrepreneur's Assistant", created on the basis of artificial intelligence, has been launched on the portal. The digital assistant was created in response to a request from the republic's business community. In real time, the service provides information about the requirements of regulatory authorities, advises on the legal aspects of doing business and helps to go through all the stages of verification.

Thanks to the launch of the service, the number of consultations with inspectors decreased by almost 60%, and the number of detected violations decreased by 28%.

"The use of a chatbot increases the legal security of a business and helps an entrepreneur prepare for the upcoming inspection — to obtain an algorithm of actions during the control event, substantiate the submission of documents requested by the inspector, and tell about the main stages of the control event," said Gulnaz Ismagilova, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The use of artificial intelligence in conducting business inspections was positively evaluated, and the practice was recommended by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development for replication in the country's regions.
