Rustam Minnikhanov supports continuity course for Tatneft

At Tatneft's Board meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan and Tatneft's Board Chairman, stated that Takhautdinov has written his own chapter of the republic's oil extraction history.
The President has pointed out that it is vital to provide continuity and course stability for the company, as oil development is the basis of republic's economy.
Nail Maganov, acting CEO, assured that he will do everything to retain the company's course.
Also, according to Tatarstan President's press service, Takhautdinov will keep his place in Tataneft's Board as a Councilor to the Chairman. Minnikhanov pointed out that Tatneft has become one of the leading companies in Russia and the foremost company of Tatarstan under Takhautdinov.
The Board appointed Nail Maganov, First Deputy CEO and Head of Oil and Oil Derivatives Sales Directorate, as a new CEO.
As part of the program, the Minister visited the Arsky Industrial Park, where he got acquainted with the current activities and long-term plans of the residents. During the inspection of the production facilities, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov held a substantive discussion with the heads of enterprises on capacity expansion and improving the efficiency of using the existing infrastructure.
Applications for the Start-Digital Technologies-1 competition (turn 2) are being accepted on the website of the Innovation Promotion Foundation until February 24. Individuals and legal entities, small business entities, can participate in it.
Rustem Mukhamedshin, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in a large–scale event - the strategic session of the Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, which took place on January 30, 2026 in Kazan at the Entrepreneur's House.
