Tatarstan opens acceptance of applications for recognition of small and medium-sized businesses as a family enterprise

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the opening of applications from small and medium-sized enterprises of the republic for the assignment of the status of “Family enterprise".

At the end of October, the procedure for assigning the status of a family enterprise to small and medium-sized companies was officially approved in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexei Pesoshin, signed the relevant decree.

According to the new rules, a company can claim the status of a family enterprise if more than 50% of the shares in the authorized capital or voting shares belong to members of the same family, while one of the family members must be the head of the company or the chairman of the board of directors (supervisory board) of the business company. Cooperatives and peasant farms, in which at least half of the participants are relatives, as well as individual entrepreneurs, in which half of the employees are family members employed at their main place of work, also fall under the decree.

Family members include spouses, parents and children (adoptive parents and adopted children), grandfathers, grandmothers and grandchildren, full-born and half-born (having a common father and mother) brothers and sisters.

To wait for the commission's decision. With a positive decision, the company or sole proprietor will be assigned the status of a family enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be reflected in the register.

Businesses and the self-employed of the republic can receive microloans on favorable terms, guarantees, grants and non-financial services under the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”. A property support program is also available for Tatarstan entrepreneurs, according to which businesses can rent state and municipal real estate for free for 2 years.
