The number of business inspections in Tatarstan decreased by 80%

In 5 years, from 2019 to 2024, Tatarstan has reduced the burden on regional businesses and inspectors in the field of control (supervisory) activities by almost 80%. This became possible thanks to the imposed moratorium, as well as digital solutions — the launch of the Verified Business portal, the Inspector mobile application and the Entrepreneur's Assistant chatbot.

In the Republic, the number of "live" business inspections has decreased in 5 years from more than 19.2 thousand to 4.4 thousand inspections. The number of detected violations decreased by 65% over the same period and amounted to just over 2.7 thousand in 2024, compared to 7.6 thousand in 2019.

After the cancellation of scheduled inspections, many control bodies provided preventive visits instead.

The format of the preventive visit is effective, as it allows for the safe functioning of the business without excessive administrative pressure in the mode of interaction with entrepreneurs. Today, businesses themselves initiate preventive visits through the Inspector mobile app. In the first 9 months of 2025, more than 2,000 events were held in the republic using the Inspector mobile application, which accounted for 25% of inspections, 43% of preventive visits and 60% of consultations.

It should be recalled that the Verified Business portal was created to promptly inform business entities about the current legal requirements in the field of control (supervisory) activities.

For the convenience of entrepreneurs, the smart chatbot "Entrepreneur's Assistant" has been launched on the portal, created on the basis of artificial intelligence and provides real-time information about the requirements of regulatory authorities, advises on legal aspects of doing business and helps to go through all the stages of verification.

In the 6 months after the launch of the chatbot, more than 6,000 requests were received from users, the number of consultations with inspectors decreased by 59%, the number of violations detected decreased by 28%, and users left 95% positive feedback.

Thanks to the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy, Russian entrepreneurs can use dozens of services for free and receive hundreds of services.

Today, there are more than 180,000 small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan, whose share of income in the gross regional product (GRP) is about 24.2%. The turnover of small and medium-sized enterprises in Tatarstan in 2025 amounted to more than 2.9 billion rubles.

Most often, businesses are interested in the upcoming INN verification, what kind of verification the company will have, which goods are subject to mandatory labeling, how to prepare for verification, what documents are needed during verification, and typical violations detected during inspections.

Let us recall that last week, at the Plenary Session of the All-Russian Forum of Regulatory Authorities — 2025, the Republic of Tatarstan presented a digital business service, the Entrepreneur's Assistant chatbot, hosted on the Verified Business Internet portal.
